Interested in pursuing membership at King’s? We believe that the Bible points believers toward membership in a local church for encouragement, growth, protection, and instruction. We seek to carry out this vision through the following membership pathway:

1. START THE PROCESS

Ways to begin the process includes filling out a blue Connect Card, responding to the invitation at the end of one of our worship services, or by contacting our church office.

2. ATTEND A FOUNDATIONS CLASS

Foundations is a one-meeting class that happens once a month. Foundations is designed to help you get connected and take a next step at King’s. Here you will learn how King’s operates, how to get involved in a small group, discover your spiritual gifts, and meet our pastors. If you are interested, visit the Foundations page under the Connect tab and register for this class. Completion of this class is a requirement for membership at King’s but anyone who would like to learn more about our church is encouraged to attend.

3. FULFILL MEMBERSHIP REQUIREMENTS

Membership at King’s requires every member to experience salvation before participating in believer’s baptism. Prospective members can join King’s in one of three ways:  1) believer’s baptism by immersion, 2) Statement of faith in Christ, 3) Request of a membership letter from a former church. After a prospective member completes the Foundations class, a pastor will set up a meeting with them to talk about baptism or their statement of faith (if needed) and help them connect to a small group.

4. THE FINAL STEP OF THE MEMBERSHIP PROCESS

Once the Foundations class is complete along with any baptisms and meetings that may be necessary, the church office will make a request from the former church for membership letters (if joining by letter).  The final step of the membership process occurs when prospective members are voted by the congregation at our monthly church conference.
